Summary
|
1. Appoint Secretary and alternates, if needed.
|
Bob Quinn volunteered to take minutes. The meeting was called to order at 7:36 pm. Bob was also seated as a voting member in the absence of full attendance.

2. Minutes from June.
|
Sally moved approval of the June minutes (with several typos corrected), and Linda seconded. The amended minutes were approved.
|
3. Membership.
|
Chris Schadler has been appointed as a new member and her appointment will be finalized later since she was not in attendance.
|
4. Correspondence.
|
Some normal follow-up letters were received from the wetlands correspondence/issues mentioned in the May 2016 minutes.
|
5. Outing.
|
The Blackwater River clean-up day was well attended, fun, and a FULL day was spent doing the work.
FALL- We planned on our outing to be a combination bird walk (starting at 8:00 a.m. at the School) and paddle at Trumbull Pond (time TBD).

6. New business
|
-Linda mentioned that the Library is willing to let us have some shelf space for some of our books and publications (for public use) but needs to know how much space we would want. We parsed our modest collection and the end result was a few slim booklets to out in the library.
- As a reminder there will be a Bashan Hollow Road/Scenic Roads public hearing at Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016. All are urged to attend and possibly look at maps that should be at Town Hall soon.
